A vacancy has arisen for an Asset Assistant to join the Council's Property Information and Asset Register Team within Corporate Estates.
Responsible to the Property Information & Asset Registration Supervisor, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive Property Information Service in respect of the Council's Land/Property portfolio.
You will assist in the general day to day running of the Property Information Team, responding to enquiries at all levels via telephone, email and face to face. As and when required, preparing the appropriate documentation for referral of matters to the Estates Team.
The post holder will provide GIS support to projects managed by Corporate Estates and other service areas. This will include the preparation of plans for insertion into legal documents.
You will need to be able to act with diplomacy in sensitive subject areas and/or circumstances, be politically aware, an effective communicator, and be able to respond flexibly to changing demands and priorities within the team.
The employee specification and job description will be included with the application form. The hours of work are 37 per week, based on a hybrid working strategy under the Council's flexible hours working scheme.
The post will be based at the Valleys Innovation Centre. The ability to travel throughout the County Borough is necessary to meet the requirements of the post.
