As an Asset Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing our operations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This challenging position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. Your ability to collaborate across departments, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement will be essential in this role. We're looking for proactive problem-solvers who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and contribute to our organization's long-term success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Lead and manage teams to drive operational excellence, ensuring engineering requirements are clearly identified and visible.
  • Ensure safe and compliant assets in line with HSEQ standards and relevant legislation.
  • Forecast, identify and meet CAPEX and OPEX budgets demonstrating cost effectiveness.
  • Investigating root causes of asset/system failures, and/or incidents to reduce costs or improve asset reliability.
  • Provide technical support to the asset teams, via collaboration with functional specialists and ensuring continuous and effective relationships with all departments.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in chemical or process-heavy operations & maintenance
  • Proficiency in HSEQ, continuous improvement, and financial management
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, control systems, and maintenance strategies
  • Experience of budget management & computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
