Asset Management Surveyor

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Asset Management Surveyor join our busy Property Investment team to provide support in delivering a comprehensive building surveying service, covering all types of property, with a focus on ensuring our stock is maintained to a high standard, is safe and meets all legislative requirements.

What you'll be doing:



Undertake stock condition surveys to domestic properties to establish condition, age, repairs, remaining life of building components, provide estimates of necessary future maintenance requirements and to ensure legislative compliance. Establish the energy efficiency of stock through undertaking energy performance assessments/surveys. Assist the property investment team in implementing and monitoring effective regimes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. This to include carrying out risk assessments and site inspections (EPCs). Provide recommendations on improvements measures needed and ensure they feed into stock investment programmes. Provide technical expertise, specifications and schedules of work following inspection and effectively deliver programme of works identified and agreed.

About you:



A relevant professional qualification or equivalent through relevant training/experience in construction and/or property maintenance sector. Experience in a building and surveying environment Experience of specifying, managing, and monitoring the work of mechanical and electrical engineering contractors and assessing the quality of their work Experience of undertaking Energy Assessments of dwellings (EPCs)
