We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as an Asset Surveyor. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role comes with Agile Working.
This is a field-based role and will require travel to our customers and properties, on a specific patch, this area includes: Kings Lynn, Ely, Wisbech, Downham Market down to Newmarket Cambridge.
As an Asset Surveyor, you will deliver a customised service to both internal stakeholders and our tenants, providing essential technical support and guidance on asset-related queries. Your role involves active participation in the ongoing development and enhancement of all support services. In close collaboration with Flagship's housing, neighbourhood, and tenant voice teams, you'll offer expert advice on asset management, facilitating effective communication and coordination among teams.
Tasked with diagnosing complex repair issues, managing cases of damp and mould, and addressing disrepair issues. Additionally, you'll handle the resolution of issues arising from tenant complaints. Overseeing the procurement of external works for our tenants, ensuring that all operations within Flagship are consistent and well-coordinated, thus supporting our planners and field operatives in maintaining a cohesive approach.
Applications are welcomed for the role of Asset Surveyor from those with previous extensive experience in social housing repairs and maintenance, whilst prioritising customer satisfaction.
Your proactive approach allows you to envision and implement practical solutions for complex issues, supported by a deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks concerning disrepairs, damp and mould, and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
You must excel in project management, ensuring timely, high-quality and budget-conscious delivery. Whilst being skilled in communication and empathy, with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
Either qualified or pursuing professional certifications in property and asset management, you will also require a full valid driving license.
