Moduloft Limited are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join our team within our Brompton on Swale Office, to undertake all aspects of bookkeeping, project cost reporting and accounts reporting.
Applications are welcome from both full time and part time candidates with a minimum commitment to 24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Process and maintain accurate financial transactions and records
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Performing bank payments, reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Ability to use relevant accounting systems including Xero and Sage.
Payroll experience would also be beneficial.
Preparing Management Accounts.
Knowledge of CIS payments and Reverse charges.
Journal postings including Accruals and Reversals.
Producing regular project costing performance reports against budget.
Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong numerical and data entry skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Positive attitude.

AAT Level 3 or working towards
