We are a dynamic and expanding firm of Chartered Accountants, with offices in Lancashire and Cumbria, and we're looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Kendal office.

Our firm provides a comprehensive range of services, including accounting, tax, and advisory support, tailored to entrepreneurial businesses. From small enterprises to multi-million-pound companies, we deliver exceptional service and proactive, strategic advice.

The role



As an Assistant Accountant, you'll experience the value of teamwork as you collaborate with the team on projects and assist senior members with managing a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities



Book-keeping (using Xero, Dext and other integrated apps) Support in preparation of Accounts and VAT returns Self-assessment tax returns Ad hoc tax advice Liaising with clients and providing support where needed
Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or part-qualified, with the option to progress towards becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

Full time - 37.5hrs

Pay: 24,000 - 30,000- per year
