Job Title: Assistant Accountant

All Jigsaw Puzzles has an opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual join the Hatherleigh finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an interesting and varied role where there is an opportunity to improve systems and processes and develop the role.

The working environment is friendly and supportive with a 'can-do' enthusiasm throughout the workforce. You will be joining at an exciting time as we are upgrading from Sage 50 to Sage 200 and scoping the finance systems as part of our investment for growth strategy.

Tasks include:

Manage sales and purchase ledger Processing of Purchase Invoices using PaperLess automated invoice processing Prepare payment runs Expense claims Downloading of E-Comm data and analysis Downloading of orders from ERP system and invoicing Credit control Bank reconciliation and account reconciliations Assist with preparation of year end accounts Assist and liaise with the Senior Management team and the Directors as required

REQUIREMENTS

For this role, proficiency with data and excel is essential as well as sound accounting skills:

Part/fully qualified/QBE accountant with broad accounting experience

Proven ability for accuracy and attention to detail

A high level of IT literacy and advanced spreadsheet proficiency are essential

Ability to efficiently handle/analyse large amounts of data transactions, for invoicing or reports

Use of Sage would be desirable

Part time or Full time considered (25-37.5 hours per week)- 5 days a week

Office based

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 37.5 per week
