Murray Volkswagen is excited to offer a rare and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and motivated Assistant Aftersales Manager to join our high-performing retailer. This role sits at the heart of our busy operation, supporting a large workshop, a frontline service team, a well-established parts department, a dedicated warranty function, and a team of drivers.

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Aftersales Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running and development of the department, including:
Supporting the optimisation of departmental performance and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
Ensuring consistent delivery of core service processes and Volkswagen standards
Analysing performance data and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions
Providing hands-on operational support across service, parts, warranty, and workshop teams
Being a central point for troubleshooting and cross-departmental coordination
Coaching and motivating team members to achieve business goals
What We're Looking For
This position is ideal for an ambitious Service Team Leader or Supervisor ready to step up, or an existing Assistant Aftersales Manager seeking a new challenge within a prestigious brand.
You will have strong working knowledge of:
Service, materials and parts revenue performance against targets
Labour productivity, workshop utilisation, lead times, margins and stock turn
Customer satisfaction, retention metrics and complaint resolution
Aftersales marketing and customer communication
Internal coaching, training and process adherence
Supplier and sub-contractor relationships
Warranty processes within a franchised retailer environment
Service check programmes and compliance
Above all, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to inspire, influence and support colleagues across multiple disciplines.
