Duties
Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise team performance.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
Create innovative drink menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating current trends.
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Organise staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to promote professional development.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a bar or similar setting.
Supervising experience with strong team management skills.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with serving procedures, hospitality standards, and barista experience is advantageous.
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
