We are seeking an experienced and dynamic assistant Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. As the assistant Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while managing daily operations efficiently.
Duties
Oversee all bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste.
Train, mentor, and lead a team of bartenders and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain health and safety standards within the bar area.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food pairings and enhance the overall dining experience.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, to drive profitability.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Understanding of food production processes and food safety regulations is essential.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A culinary background or experience in kitchen operations is advantageous.
