We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and preparation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a blend of bartending expertise, supervisory experience, and a commitment to team management.

. There is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, maintaining high standards of quality. Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health regulations. Develop new drink menus and specials to enhance customer experience. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending with a strong understanding of drink recipes and preparation techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong supervisory experience within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to help staff navigate challenges effectively.
