We have launched three brand new entertainment venues in the very centre of London; breathing live music back into Soho and ushering in a new era for Denmark Street - the iconic birthplace of British counterculture.


Four levels below ground, and right next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, we have created HERE - a cutting edge 1800 capacity space to host incredible live concerts, club nights, comedy, arts and culture; alongside high profile events, launches, fashion shows and film screenings.


Just round the corner on the infamous Denmark Street where the Sex Pistols lived, the Rolling Stones recorded and David Bowie started his first band, sits The Lower Third - a neighbourhood bar and fiercely independent grass roots music venue championing emerging talent and the unbridled spirit of Rock & Roll; with a cafe, world class cocktail barand 250 capacity basement club.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Aistant Bar Manager to join us as we build on our current team.


About the job;




The Assistant Bar Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and management of the bar department. Working closely with the Bar Manager, the Assistant Bar Manager will assist in maintaining the high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the team. This role requires a strong passion for the hospitality industry, excellent leadership skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations and a great analytical problem-solving skill.


Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;




At least 1+ year experience in a similar role in a high-volume, upscale establishment. Personal License.

Proficient knowledge in using back of house and point of sales systems. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance. Availability of working flexible hours, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. In-depth product knowledge, beverage trends and industry best practices.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Proven experience in maintaining stock control within the GP percentage. Passion for beverage industry and eagerness to learn.

Main Responsibilities




Working closely with the Bar Manager and Venue Management team to ensure a smooth operation of the bar department delivering exceptional service across all events.

Working closely with the senior team on training and development of the bar department.

Assisting the Bar Manager to ensure stock control is kept within company's standard, minimizing wastage and maximizing profitability. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean organized working environment. Assist in scheduling of staff. Support in ordering, dealing with invoice and supplier relationships.

Working closely with the Bar Manager and senior team to drive revenue and performance.
