We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring that our bar delivers exceptional service and quality. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
Supervise and lead the bar team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety standards.
Train staff in serving techniques, hospitality best practices, and customer service excellence.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising roles within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Background in restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in food preparation and cooking is advantageous.
Familiarity with barista skills is a plus for enhancing beverage offerings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
