Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Bar Manager to assist and oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring a high standard of service and a vibrant atmosphere for our patrons. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, team management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Duties

Manage daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee food preparation and production, maintaining quality standards. Develop and implement innovative drink and food menus to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and guidance to promote professional growth. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in barista roles or similar positions is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment.
