The Opportunity:



We are seeking a highly organised and motivated

Assistant

Bid Co-ordinator

to join our team and play a key role in helping to secure large-scale projects and framework agreements. This is a key role within the business, supporting the sales team on improving the quality, efficiency, and success of our tender submissions.



Working closely with internal teams, you'll be responsible for coordinating major bids from start to finish, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and professionally presented. You'll also lead on maintaining our bid and content library.



This is an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the company's continued expansion by helping win work with our target clients across high-value projects.

What will I be doing in my new role?





As a key member of the work winning team, you are central to the bid process, obtaining the necessary buy-in and approvals from stakeholders and managing their inputs so that they can be coordinated in a timely manner into the final bids.


Tendering: + Review of tender information and complete Tender Review in line with MGS Bid and Tender Process
+ Co-ordinate and project manage the bid in collaboration with the bid team.
+ Review of tender feedback to identify areas for improvement and action upon these to increase win rates.
Maintenance and Updating of Tender Library: + Identify areas for improvement of the tender library system
+ Develop structure and process to store and update the library with support from nominated persons of responsibility for individual areas (quality, IT, H&S etc)
+ Ensure that tender portals are kept updated with support from office admin staff.
+ Ensure accessibility to all tender information and its validity.
Identification of opportunities: + Assist in prospecting of new business and opportunities
+ Logging of tender opportunities within the company CRM system.
+ Engage targeted/strategic companies to become part of their supply chain







Secondary Objectives + Assist with company CSR initiatives to promote the company
+ Assist other departments with quotes when timescales allow
+ Completion of PQQ documentation (Simple ones to be completed by Office Admin).
+ Assist in business development opportunities where possible







Requirements of the role:




Project management experience, capable of delivering winning bids and proposals with support of technical leads and Head of Department's and internally supporting sales and operations colleagues Self-starter acting on own initiative and know-how in tracking down business opportunities Excellent understanding of the tendering process and bid management Adept at creating winning bids and themes which showcase added benefit and value to the client. Understanding of the geospatial industry and surveying background is an advantage. Rights to work in the UK
