Responsibilities

Participate in food preparation and cooking, demonstrating culinary skills and creativity in menu execution. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and enhance existing menu items. Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock for service. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Engage with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hospitality. Excellent leadership abilities, fostering a positive team atmosphere. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
