Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and passionate Assistant Deputy Manager to join our management team within our new nursery. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the potential of young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that promote children's emotional, social, and cognitive development. This position requires strong leadership skills working alongside the Manager and Deputy Manager to lead the team. You will have the drive and passion bringing positive energy and ideas to our new nursery and new team.

Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate educational opportunities that cater to the diverse needs of children, taking their individual interests and making each day magical Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity with endless opportunity to express themselves Manage daily activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships- a holistic approach. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational programme. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery space that promotes learning and gives the children a home from home environment. Drive initiatives that support children's individual needs and interests.

Skills



2 years experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong leadership capabilities to support other members of the team, coaching and mentoring them to be the best they can be in their role Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with children and families. A sound knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage the dynamics of little ones who need our guiding hands while promoting positive behaviour. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth in a nursery environment, celebrating all the big and small achievements! Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on children's varying needs and learning styles. Make every day a magical and fun day for the children in our care Don't be scared to get your wellies and overalls on for walks in the local woods and park, your gloves and apron on to support our children to feed their pet chickens and collect their eggs to take home and be ready to sing and dance because our children love music, especially our music lady!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,560.00-29,000.00 per year
