We are looking for a fabulous Assistant Deputy Manager to join our lovely 45 place nursery.
About the Role
To joint run one of our playrooms and be room based, providing support and leading by example to raise standards of care and education;
Assist in the effective management of the staff team alongside the manager and deputy manager.
Working with the current management Team in reviewing and working on action plans to improve and drive the setting forward to improve both the children's environment and the standards of teaching and learning;
To ensure all Health and Safety policies are implemented and adhered to at all times;
Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
Ensure that children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of their development
Ensure practice and provisions in the nursery meets the requirement of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow safeguarding procedures
Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members
Support the development of good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
Create a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery
About You
Minimum NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
Excellent knowledge of OFSTED requirements and expectations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to multiple targets and deadlines
An eye for detail, ensure all records are maintained and up to date at all times and nursery paperwork is completed and accurate
Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
Passion and creativity for delivering outstanding childcare and education
