The Assistant Director of Bootcamps is responsible for leading the strategic development and operational delivery of skills bootcamps across Partners in Bristol. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance, student recruitment, and compliance with funding requirements, while also building strong employer relationships and identifying new business opportunities to expand bootcamp offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Employer Liaison:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to ensure bootcamp programs are aligned with industry needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for employer engagement, addressing inquiries and facilitating partnerships.
Account manage bootcamp delivery partners, ensuring quality assurance measures and performance KPIs are met.
Quality Assurance and KPIs:
Ensure that all bootcamp programs meet or exceed quality assurance standards.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Implement best practices and corrective actions to address areas for development.
Ensure adherence to funding body guidelines on monthly reporting, returns and quality assurance.
Line Management:
Lead and manage the bootcamp team, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.
Foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
Adhere to appraisal and performance expectations.
Student Recruitment and Target Achievement:
Ensure bootcamp student recruitment meets established targets.
Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to drive recruitment strategies.
Compliance and Funding Requirements:
Ensure all bootcamp programs comply with funding requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
Monitor WECA reporting to ensure compliance with expectations
Business Development and Bid Support:
Identify new business opportunities for bootcamps in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Support the writing of bids and proposals to secure additional funding and program expansion.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Quality and Operations.
Present data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
Safeguarding:
Oversee the implementation of safeguarding practices within the bootcamps, ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners- making referrals to appropriate teams as required
Conduct safeguarding risk assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation for all centre and delivery locations and services, addressing any issues that arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in educational program management, preferably in bootcamps or vocational training.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and achieve key performance targets.
Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and funding compliance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in business development and bid writing is highly desirable.
