Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Events Manager to join our dynamic Walled City Brewery team in the Taproom! In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management within a vibrant environment.

Duties

Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown. Provide excellent guest services by welcoming attendees and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Support fundraising efforts by engaging with guests and promoting event activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the event are executed seamlessly. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks. Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience during events. Maintain a clean and organised environment throughout the event space. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent time management skills to prioritise responsibilities effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to changing circumstances. Experience in fundraising or promotional activities is a plus but not essential. A friendly disposition with a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: 22,880.00-26,000.00 per year
