Key Responsibilities



Carry out inspection of fire dampers in accordance with current legislation and safety standards Install access doors into ventilation systems to enable proper inspection and maintenance access Undertake installation and repair of passive fire stopping in line with legal requirements Conduct installation and repair of fire dampers, including any required ductwork modifications, in compliance with relevant regulations Maintain personal equipment and ensure stock inventories of materials are kept up to date Produce and submit accurate written reports as required Ensure comprehensive and accurate record-keeping of all work undertaken Effective and timely delivery of all assigned tasks to a high professional standard

Excellent client service and interpersonal skills Effective personal organisation and administrative ability Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities Confident decision-making and basic negotiation skills Good literacy skills, including the ability to understand and follow technical manuals Clear and professional verbal and listening communication Strong time management and task prioritisation A recognised qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential

Nationwide from home base

(Colchester)



Salary:

30,000 OTE

Regular overnight stays are a part of the role and will be fully covered, including accommodation and meals Some auditing work may be conducted outside of standard working hours, including occasional night shifts
