Responsibilities

Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising plants to promote healthy growth Using hand tools such as spades, shears, and rakes for landscape maintenance Operating power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Managing weed control and pest management to protect plant health Assisting with landscape design projects and seasonal planting schemes Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use Monitoring plant health and identifying signs of disease or pests for prompt action

Experience

Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is highly desirable Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and plant care practices Familiarity with irrigation systems, power tools, and hand tools used in gardening tasks Growing experience with various plant species and understanding of their specific needs Practical understanding of horticultural principles and sustainable gardening practices Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
