The Lion & Swan is not just one venue; it is a collection of three distinct and high-quality concepts, offering a broad and exciting managerial challenge. The Assistant General Manager will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operational excellence across all three:

1. Pecks Restaurant

The Brand:

An established and respected name in culinary excellence, operating for over 40 years.

The Standard:

Recognised with an AA Rosette for outstanding culinary quality.

The Challenge:

Requires management of fine dining service standards, intricate reservations, specialised wine service, and strict attention to detail required in a high-calibre kitchen environment.
2. Radley & Co

The Vibe:

An exciting and dynamic subterranean venue located in the cellars of The Lion & Swan.

The Offering:

A high-energy space focusing on live music, screening live sport, and offering social gaming.

The Challenge:

Demands expertise in managing high-volume bar service, security, licence compliance, and promoting a vibrant entertainment atmosphere.
3. The Lion & Swan (Hotel & Lounge)

The Heritage:

Presiding over the most historic part of the building.

The Accommodation:

Features 21 AA 5 Star bedrooms, requiring stringent quality control and exceptional guest service standards.

The Dining:

Includes a Lounge area that serves relaxed dining and drinks throughout the day.

The Challenge:

Requires familiarity of hotel front-of-house operations, including check-in/out, housekeeping, overnight audit procedures, and managing casual, all-day food service.
As second in command for the entire property, The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for upholding the unique identity and standards of each venue while ensuring a cohesive and outstanding experience for every guest.

In addition to the advertised salary, the yearly TRONC value for this role is circa 4000.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 40,000.00 per year
