The Wonder World Group is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager for our Falkirk venue Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be accountable for all aspects of the site management including leading teams, financial planning, and profitability as well as being responsible for site legislative requirements including Health and Safety and Food Hygiene. We have a central team who are there to advise and support as necessary, but the day-to-day operations are for the General and Assistant General Manager to oversee.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safe operation of the site through compliance management and accurate reporting.
Maintain standards of both equipment and buildings as per company guidelines.
Implementing Health & Safety procedures and ensuring safety at all times carrying out risk assessments.
Team Development and promoting a positive culture.
Coaching staff and responsible for training of staff.
Deliver outstanding customer service.
Achieve and succeed KPIs and profitability goals.
Maximise revenue opportunities to ensure that the profits, costs and targets are in line with the company budget.
Ordering of operating supplies.
Ensuring availability through accurate stock input, controls and stock intake.
Promote venue through social media.
Follow HR process as and when required.
Participate in new site openings or site closings (travel may be required)
Attend manager meetings, training sessions or workshops as required by the business (travel may be required)
Required to work non traditional hours, weekends, evenings, holidays, over-time may be required.
Key skills:
Experience working in a similar role/business.
People Management and processes to deliver excellent customer service.
Organisational and time management skills.
High level of interpersonal, communication and motivation skills.
Certified in First Aid, CPR and Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred
Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
All new starts will be given full training.
Salary:
26,000- 27,000 + Company Pension, Bonus Scheme, Discounted Meals.
