Job Summary


The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing leadership and support to the team while maintaining high standards of service and food quality. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, and team management. The Assistant General Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, staff training, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage daily operations within the restaurant or hotel environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards. Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service to guests. Train new staff members on food production techniques, serving methods, and hospitality best practices. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience. Maintain records of food safety checks and kitchen operations.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations. Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
