Self-employed basis using club facilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an

Assistant Golf Professional

to join our team at

Isle of Wedmore Golf Club

.

We are seeking a

highly motivated, approachable and well-organised individual

with strong communication and customer service skills. This role would suit a PGA Professional or Professional looking to develop their coaching business while being part of a supportive club environment and team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will work

30 hours per week in the Pro Shop

, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of retail operations, while also operating as a

self-employed coach

.

Pro Shop responsibilities will include:

Delivering excellent customer service to members and visitors Pro shop retail sales, duties and day-to-day shop operations Ordering and management of pro shop stock Golf club repairs and basic workshop duties Custom fitting services

Coaching opportunities:

Deliver coaching on a self-employed basis Access to the club's

driving range, indoor studio and short game facilities

Opportunity to grow individual lessons, group coaching, junior programmes and beginner initiatives
About You

PGA qualified (or in training) Friendly, professional and enthusiastic Well organised with good attention to detail Confident communicator with a passion for coaching and growing the game Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
