Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. This role involves working closely with gymnasts of various skill levels, fostering their development in a safe and supportive environment.

Duties

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts. Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to athletes to enhance their performance. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and organised training area. Monitor the progress of each gymnast and adjust training plans as necessary. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a positive team culture. Organise and participate in competitions, exhibitions, and events as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines. Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and young adults. A genuine passion for gymnastics and a commitment to fostering talent. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

Didcot OX11 7AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:

A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Language:

English(Russian or Ukrainian preferred, but optional) (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Safeguarding Certification (preferred)
