Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing all kitchen operations including food preparation, quality control, inventory, and staff supervision.
Take charge of grill section during peak hours, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, especially in grill techniques and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Assist in planning menus, portion control, and managing food cost targets.
Monitor kitchen stock levels and help with ordering and inventory management.
Handle kitchen equipment with care and report maintenance needs promptly.
Step in as acting Kitchen Manager in the manager's absence.
Requirements:
Experience as a Grill Chef or in a supervisory kitchen role.
Solid understanding of kitchen workflows, food hygiene regulations, and grill cooking techniques.
Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
