The role in brief:



An opportunity has arisen to join the Accounting + Advisory team as an Assistant Manager.

Who we are looking for:



This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has post qualification accounts experience, looking to step into managing a portfolio of SME and limited company clients, reporting to portfolio holders.


This role will also involve some line management and operational responsibilities in the department.


What the role involves:



Overseeing some of the day to day operations within the Accounting + Advisory department, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements . Review of accounts in accordance with FRS102 and FRS102-1a, for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders both in-house and at clients' premises for a wide range of industries. Review of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and projections using various software packages both in-house and on site. Preparing complex forecasts reports and other adhoc reports as necessary Review of corporate tax returns and review of computations. Consideration of income and other personal tax implications at accounts preparation stage. Assisting the Partners, directors and other managers with project-based work Liaising with clients, managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring deadlines are met.
o Collaborating with senior management in the department to develop and implement accounting policies. o


Participate in staff training and supervision and acting as a coach to more junior members of the team.


Liaising with other departments within the wider firm, such as the audit and tax teams. Developing and maintaining an advanced level of technical knowledge through CPD
