The Role:
We're looking for a
hands-on Assistant Manager
with strong leadership skills and experience in
cellar management
. This is a floor-focused role where you'll lead by example, ensuring our guests receive an outstanding experience while supporting and inspiring your team. You'll help manage daily operations, maintain high standards, and keep our bar running smoothly from cellar to service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service, inspiring your team to do the same.
Supervise and lead the team, ensuring smooth operations across the bar and restaurant.
Oversee
cellar management
, including stock control, deliveries, storage, and rotation.
Train, motivate, and mentor staff to maintain high standards of service and teamwork.
Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Assist with planning, ordering, and day-to-day operational management.
Create a positive, engaging, and efficient working environment.
About You:
Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in bar/restaurant settings.
Strong
leadership skills
with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
Experience in
cellar management
and stock control.
Passionate about delivering a first-class customer experience.
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work alongside your team on the floor.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends and evenings.
