Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality establishment
Supervise staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies
Engage in food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards
Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service
Manage inventory levels and assist with food production planning
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills
Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous
Experience in hotel settings is a plus but not mandatory
