You will ensure everything within our properties is running smoothly and have full autonomy for successful project management within our London properties. The Assistant Manager Maintenance we are looking for will have a genuine passion for exceptional guest experience and take pride in the properties they work in, looking after every inch of the buildings. This role is a roaming role, it requires driving to provide maintenance operations to our properties in London. This role is working 5 days from 7 for a minimum of 40 hours per week.

You must have a minimum of 12 months experience of maintenance and project management, with an understanding and knowledge of gas and electrical legislation. Your role is to ensure our properties are safe and functional for guests and employees alike as instructed by the General Manager.

Responsibilities will include:



COMPLIANCE



Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and guests

Carry out fault finding and leak investigations

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance work

Carry out minor repairs to the building fabric, furnishing and fittings throughout the property

Inspect works to ensure compliance with required standards, and performance targets and take corrective action under direction of General Manager as appropriate

Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations

Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the properties

Complete reports and paperwork as required

Escalate any serious problems or failures together with any relevant information to aid follow up to the General Manager

A good working knowledge of general maintenance including basic knowledge of electrical, heating and plumbing systems.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT



Plan, manage and coordinate projects and maintenance works

Produce information, analysis and reports to ensure the General Manager is informed of project/work progress, problems and agreed resolutions as required

Deliver small scale projects including lifecycle works ensuring performance quality levels are met throughout, risks to delivery are treated in a timely manner

Liaise with external contractors when required

DUTY MANAGEMENT



Cover Duty Manager responsibilities as needed, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
