Duties

Assist with food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring dishes meet quality standards Support the kitchen team in daily operations, including food production and presentation Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to food safety regulations Manage team tasks efficiently, coordinating between different sections of the kitchen or restaurant Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining excellent hospitality standards Help with inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area Uphold food safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations Contribute to organising special events or catering services as required Support the overall smooth running of the restaurant or hotel dining services

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is highly desirable Supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments, including barista or serving roles, is beneficial Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes is preferred Experience with kitchen operations, culinary techniques, or hospitality service will be considered an asset Candidates with a background in culinary arts or extensive restaurant experience are encouraged to apply
