We are seeking to appoint exceptional practitioners to join our dynamic Senior Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in driving whole-school improvement.
This is a unique opportunity for visionary and impactful leaders with a proven track record to take on a strategic lead in an agreed area of responsibility, shaping the future of our school and making a lasting impact on the lives of our students. This role would be suited to an experienced middle leader who is ambitious for the next stage in their career development, or to an existing Assistant Principal seeking a fresh challenge, or an opportunity to diversify their leadership profile, with a clear ambition to have greater influence within a large and thriving school.
If you're a leader with a passion for taking a core responsibility for whole-school attendance, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Equally, we welcome applications from those driven to lead on an alternative aspect of whole-school improvement that would directly improve outcomes for young people. For example, a leader who can design and implement impactful strategies that inspire students to think deeply and work with greater purpose, both in and beyond the classroom. This includes enhancing independent learning, fostering academic resilience, and embedding strong habits that support long-term success.
As a developing or experienced senior leader, you will benefit from outstanding leadership development opportunities and excellent support both within the school and across the wider United Learning network. This includes access to specialist expertise, nationally recognised leadership programmes, and the chance to collaborate and share best practice with senior leaders across the country. You can also access regular coaching from a dedicated leadership coach and benefit from supportive line management provided by an experienced senior leader, helping you to grow your leadership profile and maximise your impact.
The Assistant Principal will lead on the strategic and operational direction of an agreed area of responsibility across The Regis School. If leading attendance, the role will be central to ensuring that all students attend regularly, understand the importance of being present, and are supported to overcome barriers to attendance. The postholder will work closely with pastoral teams, families, and external agencies to foster a culture of high expectations and inclusivity. If the role is for a different strategic responsibility, clarity of the key responsibilities will be agreed.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response.
