Posted 18 hours agoFirst Choice Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Health and Social Care Trust for the position of Assistant Procurement Officer based in Ballymena. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Procurement and Logistics Service part of the Business Services Organisation, which plays a crucial role in supporting health and social care services across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will benefit from full-time hours working Monday to Friday with a pay rate of xc2xa312.31 per hour and valuable public sector experience.Main duties of this role with involve:
- Purchasing goods and services to ensure value for money
- Resolving invoice queries to facilitate prompt supplier payments
- Responding professionally to supplier queries
- Liaising with colleagues across all sites on procurement matters
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and supporting contract processes
- Ensuring full compliance with public sector procurement policies
- xc2xa312.31 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Weekly pay
- Temporary contract (May to September 2025)
- Possibility of extension
- Work within a respected public sector organisation
