First Choice Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Health and Social Care Trust for the position of Assistant Procurement Officer based in Ballymena. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Procurement and Logistics Service part of the Business Services Organisation, which plays a crucial role in supporting health and social care services across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will benefit from full-time hours working Monday to Friday with a pay rate of 312.31 per hour and valuable public sector experience.
Main duties of this role with involve:

Purchasing goods and services to ensure value for money
Resolving invoice queries to facilitate prompt supplier payments
Responding professionally to supplier queries
Liaising with colleagues across all sites on procurement matters
Maintaining accurate procurement records and supporting contract processes
Ensuring full compliance with public sector procurement policies

What we need from you:
Relevant experience working within a procurement environment
Excellent communication and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Familiarity with public sector procurement processes is desirable
