Assistant Production Manager

to help us deliver high-quality timber profiles and cut-to-size sheet materials.

In this role, you'll work closely with our Production Manager at Head Office to oversee manufacturing activities, making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently -- all while keeping our customers at the heart of what we do. You'll provide clear direction to the production teams, support continuous improvement, and help maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and safety.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Production Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities Keeping production facilities efficient, safe, and clean Managing stock, materials, and offcuts effectively to reduce waste Providing leadership, coaching, and performance reviews for production staff Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company policies Identifying and solving problems quickly to keep production on track Recording and reporting production performance and costs with accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,630.23-35,500.00 per year

Experience:

Wood Production : 2 years (preferred) Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
