Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Asst. Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management to optimise production workflows and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a proactive Assistant Production Manager to support the end-to-end production of licensed merchandise through third-party factories in China, Bangladesh and India. This is a full time role in-person at offices in Watford.

Key Responsibilities: o Liaise with overseas factories throughout the production process. o Monitor production schedules and quality checks. o Approve packaging and labeling proposals (subject to buyer consent). o Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and regulatory standards. o Coordinate with internal teams on production updates and issues.

Requirements: o Experience managing overseas production (China/India preferred). o Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality control, and international logistics. o Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. o Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and project management tools Preferred: o Licensed merchandise experience (toys, apparel, consumer goods). o Knowledge of compliance standards (CE, UKCA, FDA, etc.). o Multilingual (Mandarin) is a plus.
