The

Assistant Production Manager

role:

The Assistant Production Manager will play a critical role in supporting and overseeing the day-to-day production activities, with responsibility across the

preparation, main build, and test

stages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, proven production management experience, and hands-on switchgear testing knowledge.

What you'll need to join us as an

Assistant Production Manager


Experience in a production management or supervisory role. Electrical background - ideally time-served or qualified in electrical engineering. Strong understanding of LV switchgear systems and components. Hands-on experience with electrical testing procedures and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/MRP systems.

Desirable

HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of ISO quality systems and health & safety regulations. Experience in a make-to-order or bespoke manufacturing environment.
