We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to work alongside a private landlord who owns multiple properties across London, and assist him in the day to day running and management of the properties and the tenants. The majority of the properties are in SW11, so it would be highly advantageous if you lived near SW11 in order to attend the properties in person when required.
Duties
will include:
Maintaining relationships with tenants. Being the first point of contact for tenants for all their queries.
You must be able to travel to SW11 and SW4 in order to carry out property inspections and for the occasional viewing.
Arranging for all maintenance requests to be carried out. This will involve getting full details of the maintenance request via videos and pictures and time frames etc, as well as ordering the relevant parts.
Maintaining up to date records of the properties, tenants and any ongoing issues.
Carry out 6 monthly property checks to ensure the properties are in a good state of repair.
Booking inventories for the end of tenancies.
Responsible for advertising any vacant properties, and arranging viewings to find new tenants.
May become involved with other administrative duties to do with the landlord's other work, if that is something that you would be interested in after settling in.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative office environment is essential; experience in property management is very advantageous.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deal with things urgently when required.
The ability to form strong relationships with the tenants.
The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
