Due to additional contracts, we are expanding yet again! Currently seeking a Assistant Property Manager to join our team. From our offices in Rochester we undertake work across Kent and South East London. We are a hands-on company that understands the requirements of both residential and commercial property management. The ideal candidate will be someone currently working in estate agency but with ambition to cross train into another role, with no up-selling required! We are prepared to support formal training and qualifications if required.
The hours are 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday - full time. The role is office based, but travel to sites is required.
You will be responsible for:
Providing an exceptional Property Management and service to our customers; ensuring that our customer experience is engaging and frustration-free.
Ensuring the property portfolio and associated activities are compliant and delivered in accordance with legislative requirements
Providing excellent customer service to a demanding client base and maintaining relevant records and systems.
To be successful in the role you will have:
Experience within a property management environment, both in the commercial and private sectors, including block management.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work as part of a dynamic team and respond positively to challenges
An awareness of compliance, budgetary and financial risk in respect of the marketplace
Fluency in Microsoft software packages as you will be efficient in maintaining administration and finance records electronically.
A full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (a mileage allowance is paid)
We would prefer the successful candidate also has:
Awareness of budgets, AGMs and dealing with queries associated with such items.
Experience of dealing with the management of residential and/or commercial estates
Experience with day to day communication with tenants and directors of RTM companies.
