Job Description

Riverside Psychology a busy private Clinical Psychology service working within the field of neurodivergence and mental health. Situated in central Aberdeen, we service Grampian and the surrounding areas, as well as providing a National online service.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Psychologist to join our service.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing patient care, conducting clinical research and contributing to the growth of the service.

Responsibilities



Under supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist Participate conduct psychological assessments and evaluations Under supervision by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist develop and implement individualised psychological formulations treatment plans according to NICE and SIGN Guidelines Produce clinical reports and letters to a high standard Keep comprehensive clinical records Contribute to the management and administration of our diagnostic assessment pathway Contribute to administrative tasks associated with running our service Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements



Essential

Undergraduate degree in Psychology from an accredited institution British Psychological Society Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) Right to work in the UK Qualify for membership of the PVG scheme Knowledge of psychological models and evidence based interventions

Desirable

Experience conducting psychometric assessments Experience working with people with mental health challenges Experience working with people with a neurodivergence Clinical administrative experience Masters Degree in Clinical/Applied Psychology

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 24,907.00-30,615.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
