About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, and skilled Assistant Psychologist to join our dynamic Neurodiversity Service. This role offers a unique opportunity to within a multidisciplinary team to support assessment, diagnostic and support for individuals and families exploring autism and ADHD pathways.

You will contribute to assessments, interventions, and service development initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and strengths-based approaches across clinical and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of psychological assessments and interventions under supervision. Support the development and implementation of person-centred care plans. Contribute to data collection, analysis, and audit activities to inform service improvement. Engage with service users, families, and professionals to promote understanding of neurodiversity. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with professional standards. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training opportunities.
Essential Criteria

A degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1) eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS. Experience working with neurodivergent individuals in clinical, educational, or community settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Desirable Criteria

Experience in conducting or supporting psychological assessments. Knowledge of neurodiversity-affirming practices. Familiarity with outcome measures and data analysis. Previous experience in NHS, third sector, or social care settings.

Pay: From 26,686.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
