The post is located within the Camden & Islington Personality Disorder Service, provided by the North London NHS Foundation Trust.
The service is made up of a Community Team, Liaison Team, and a Therapies Team. This post is located within the Therapies Team, which currently consists of three treatment streams: Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Transference Focused Psychotherapy for Personality Disorder.
The role supports the service through contributing to the assessment of people referred to the service via both initial referral screening and face to face assessment, team clinical supervision, assisting in running psycho-education groups, reception duties, clinical administration and data analysis, and by contributing to service development
The post-holder will be a core member of the service, supervised and line-managed by Clinical Psychologists.
The post supports the work of the Personality Disorder Service through:
Assisting in the assessment of people referred to the Personality Disorder Service.
Assisting in the running of psychoeducation groups.
Participating in and taking the minutes of service meetings.
Supporting reception and forming part of the Duty service.
Helping with clinical administration; maintaining databases and data reporting.
Research, audit and service evaluation.
