Assistant Pub Manager

to join our team at the cosy and popular Blue Bell Inn, Wentbridge - Just 10 minutes from Pontefract. (www.bluebellwentbridge.co.uk).

About the Role

As Assistant Pub Manager, you'll be an integral part of the team. You'll work closely with the Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and motivating the team, ensuring high standards on every shift
Assisting with stock and cellar management

Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation across the pub Being knowledgeable about our food and drink offer Supporting the restaurant service - hands-on guest service, taking bookings & enquiries Taking responsibility for opening/closing and the smooth running of shifts Handling complaints professionally and effectively

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in a supervisory role within a high-volume pub or restaurant Well presented, confident and a great communicator A natural leader with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Passionate about great food, drink and guest service Flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends (with rota flexibility to support work-life balance)
Having your own transport is recommended due to our rural location.
