Assistant Race Director - Simply Race Manchester

Simply Race Manchester is looking for a confident, enthusiastic Assistant Race Director to join our growing team.

This role is

primarily evenings and weekends

, as these are our busiest periods. It is ideal for someone who lives and breathes motorsport and enjoys working with people in a fast paced, customer facing environment.

Simply Race is the UK's premier motorsport simulator venue, featuring

15 linked racing simulators

. We deliver unforgettable experiences for corporate events, team building days, product launches, children's parties, stag and hen groups, and casual racers. We also operate an onsite bar.

The role includes

Running and controlling simulator race events Briefing and confidently speaking to large groups of customers Ensuring every guest has an outstanding experience Coaching and assisting customers on track General customer service and front of house duties Serving drinks and snacks Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the venue
What we are looking for

A genuine motorsport enthusiast Confident speaking to groups and leading race briefings Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Friendly, professional and calm under pressure Reliable and flexible to work evenings and weekends
Experience that is useful but not essential

Full training will be provided, but the following are a bonus:

Basic IT skills Motorsport or karting knowledge Sim racing experience Bar or hospitality experience

Minimum age: 18 years

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
