Responsibilities
Assist in supervising daily operations of the sales floor to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of goals and expectations.
Provide training and support to new staff members, fostering their development within the company.
Maintain an organised sales area, ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively and inventory is managed efficiently.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records of sales activities.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to implement strategies for improving sales performance and customer engagement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while promoting a positive team culture.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers professionally.
Administrative experience is advantageous, particularly in managing schedules and reports.
Bilingual abilities are considered an asset, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
