We are recruiting for an assistant shop manager for our very popular shop in Old Town. Are you passionate about charity retail, with a creative flair for fashion and want to use your skills to make a real difference to your local community?

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (three days a week, which will include working weekends and some bank holidays)

What is the role?

We're looking for someone proactive, customer-focused, and community-minded to help drive sales, engage our volunteers, and support the day-to-day running of the shop. This is more than just a retail job - it's a chance to make a real difference locally.


As Assistant Shop Manager, you'll:

Support the shop manager in achieving sales targets and delivering a fantastic customer experience Help coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers Ensure attractive stock displays and merchandising to maximise sales Promote Gift Aid donations and manage donations effectively Contribute to the development of new promotions and other improvements to retail practice Take full responsibility in the Shop Manager's absence (including occasional full-time cover)

You will need to hold a full driving licence and be flexible to cover other shops in our catchment area when needed.
