Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Surveyor

to join our growing team. Reporting to our Senior Surveyors, the successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality damp and mould remediation projects, carrying out site surveys, preparing reports, and liaising with clients and the in-house technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting property surveys to assess damp, mould, and associated building defects. Gather and document detailed site information, measurements, photographs, and observations. Support in preparing clear, accurate survey reports and remediation proposals for clients. Liaise with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project progression. Monitor project progress, ensuring works are carried out in line with specifications, standards, and client expectations. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Attend client meetings, site inspections, and handover meetings as required. Stay up to date with relevant industry best practices, regulations, and health & safety standards.
Requirements

Previous experience or strong interest in property surveying, building maintenance, or construction. Knowledge or willingness to learn about damp, mould, and associated remedial works. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence (essential). Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent in Building Surveying or Construction) desirable but not essential - training will be provided.

Pay: 25,063.41-45,342.64 per year

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
