We are seeking an enthusiastic
Assistant Tutor
to work alongside the Lead Tutor in delivering maths and English sessions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education who wants to make a real difference to young people's lives. You'll provide classroom support, 1:1 guidance, and help to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities
Support the Lead Tutor in delivering maths and English lessons. Provide 1:1 or small-group support for learners. Assist in preparing lesson materials and resources. Encourage learner engagement, confidence, and participation. Help track and record learner progress. Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and behaviour expectations.
Person Specification
Experience supporting teaching and learning (school, college, or alternative provision setting). Strong literacy and numeracy skills (qualifications in maths/English desirable). Ability to build positive relationships with young people. Patient, supportive, and adaptable. * Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
