The business also has a noted presence in the area of alternative valuations, particularly in the trading and leisure space.

Working in the valuation team at Lambert Smith Hampton is diverse and rewarding, with your work having a direct impact on your clients business. We have a national service line from where you can draw upon a wealth of experience and knowledge. An example of the services we provide includes:

• Loan security; providing lenders with a comprehensive and independent report of the market, and rental value of a property or an entire portfolio
• Alternatives; our alternative valuers carry out valuations for loan security, portfolio valuations, financial reporting, disposal, acquisition, compensation, property litigation and taxation purposes.
• Company accounts valuation; providing clients with a comprehensive and accurate report on the value of their property assets.
• Diminution in value; providing accurate, independent advice on valuation in dilapidation disputes and in situations such as claims of negligence in conveyancing.
• Fund valuation; providing asset management companies and investment trusts with the detailed information they require about their property holdings.

This opportunity:

Lambert Smith Hampton is looking for an Associate Director to join our Birmingham Valuation team and lead the alternatives function based out of that office covering the midlands.

This is a great opportunity to work within an established valuation team in Birmingham and alternatives team in London with an initial set of clients to pickup and develop further into a full service function for the Midlands. Longer term there exists an chance to grow and develop a dedicated alternatives team for Birmingham.

This opportunity exists for a:-

• Senior Surveyors with a background in alternative valuations
• Associate Directors with experience in the trading and leisure valuations
